Offenburg, Germany – Once a year, the "Initiative Mittelstand" and the publishing house "Huber Verlag" honour several companies for their innovative IT solutions supporting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized businesses. The independent jury of professors, scientists, insiders of the industry and journalists judge the submitted solutions for their economical, social, ecological, and technological benefits.
Striding into the kitchen of the future with SmartConnect
Digitalization is taking over the hospitality sector: networking, management and monitoring of kitchen equipment using digital aids is the future. In future, kitchen managers can operate all of their HOBART warewashing and cooking equipment with the SmartConnect app. All relevant data is available in real time at all hours and can be used for controlling or hygiene documentation, for example. In addition, the app warns users of any errors so they can intervene immediately and avoid downtimes. "Networking is the future.
