HOBART General Manager Axel Beck is new ITW Group President Global Ware Wash

With effect of 01 March 2016, the Board of the ITW Group (Illinois Tool Work), appointed Axel Beck, HOBART General Manager and Vice President, Group President Global Ware Wash. This gives Axel Beck responsibility for the global warewashing business of the ITW group.

Axel Beck will keep his office at the Offenburg site, the European HOBART headquarter; from there, he will manage the global business of all warewashing companies in the group. The European and Asian HOBART companies as well as the American and the Italian warewashing group will report directly to the General Manager from Offenburg.

Directly after graduating from his mechanical and industrial engineering studies, Axel Beck joined the HOBART group in 1989. Starting in Offenburg, he next managed the British factory site of Hobart UK for 5 years before returning to Southern Germany in 2002 as Business Unit Manager Ware Wash Systems. In 2009, he was appointed HOBART General Manager and in 2011, Vice President Europe & Asia. These recurring nominations are a clear mark of the confidence the US-American group has in Axel Beck, the 51 years old General Manager of HOBART Offenburg.
