Once per year the trade magazines Tophotel and HOTEL + TECHNIK join together with their readers to award the best products and services for the hotel industry. This year, warewashing technology manufacturer HOBART received the readers' choice award for the sixth time in a row.
Offenburg, Germany – HOBART, world market leader in commercial warewashing, convinced the jury and readership with its innovative products yet again in 2022 – this time with its SmartConnect app. The app allows users to manage their HOBART dishwashers as well as their cooking equipment. The Offenburg-based company received the Star Award in silver in the “software solutions” category.
The jury is made up of the editorial staff of the magazines who select three companies per category. Subsequently, the readers decide which companies receive the gold, silver and bronze awards. The chosen products and services were presented to the recipients of the trade publications and the associated online portals in six categories, including efficiency, functionality and guest comfort.
With SmartConnect to the kitchen of the future
Digitalization is an important topic for the hospitality sector: networking, management and monitoring of kitchen equipment using digital aids is the future. HOBART SmartConnect makes all relevant data available to the user in real time and can be used for controlling or hygiene documentation among other things. In addition, the app warns users of any malfunctions so they can intervene immediately and avoid downtimes. “Networking is the future.
